Heidelberg Tax Law Prize

The Institute of Public Finance and Tax Law at Heidelberg University confers the

 

Heidelberg Tax Law Prize 2024

 

This prize honors the academic, political or journalistic work of a person who is outstandingly committed to strengthen a fair and principle-oriented tax order under the rule of law. The prize is equally dedicated to outstanding single publications.

 

The prize will be awarded at the annual symposium of the Institute of Public Finance and Tax Law in autumn 2024. It comes with a prize money of 5,000 euros.

 

Applications and nominations can be submitted by email to the Directors of the Institute until June 30, 2024 (fst@uni-heidelberg.de). Please add all relevant documents in one PDF file. The prize jury consists of

 

  • Professor Dr. Dres. h.c. Paul Kirchhof, Heidelberg University, former Justice at the Bundesverfassungsgericht,
  • Professor Dr. Ekkehart Reimer, Heidelberg University, and
  • Dr. Eva Oertel, Bavarian State Ministry of Finance and Home Affairs.

 

The jury is not bound to the applications and nominations received. Legal recourse is excluded.
