Institute for German and European Administrative Law
The Institute’s research covers on the one hand German Administrative Law and its system. The objects of research are the following: General Administrative Law, Administrative Procedural Law and in the field of Special Administrative Law, particularly Environmental Law, Planning Law and Social Law. On the other hand, important research fields are those of European and International Administrative Law, as well as Comparative Administrative Law.
The Institute’s primary aim is to academically support the procedure of further integration of EU law requirements in the legal systems of the Member States, the therefore necessary structural changes, as well as the development of a legal order of Integrated Administration in the EU.
